We advise high quality wood to avoid problems during assembly and to assure a sturdy construction. It is important to use dry wood that has been sawn outside the heart and is free of cracks. Cracks and shrinkage as a result of drying can lead to bolted and screwed connections coming loose or even dropping out of the wood.
To prevent damage by insects or wood-rot, we advise to use either pressure treated softwood or hardwood. Make sure you choose wood with rounded corners to satisfy the TÜV standards and to guarantee the safety of your children. |
